Shaji Purushothaman arrested:-

Kochi: Shaji Purushothaman, the Empee Group scion, wanted in the Mercedes Benz accident case, was arrested by the police from the Nedumbassery airport here on Thursday. The Mercedes, allegedly driven by Shaji, crashed into people sleeping on the pavement in Egmore, Chennai killing a boy and injuring two children. One child is said to be serious.
Police report says that Shaji was under the influence of alcohol when the mishap occured. However, Shaji field an affidavit in the court stating that he was not driving the car and it was his driver who was on wheels. The Madras High Court had dismissed the anticipatory bail plea of Shaji. The arrest comes after Shaji's bail plea in the Kerala HC was about to be taken up.

In 1949, opening a cupboard, the Master’s attendant found a bedsheet bitten by a rat, and inside the sheet were four of its newborns. They had hardly opened their eyes. He took them to the Master. When the Master saw the baby rats, his heart was flooded with compassion. He felt greatly pained that they should have been disturbed.
