PRODUCTS QUALITY ? WHERE-??

Years back the companies produced very tasty bakery items, at present the big companies slowly hike the price,  reduce the quantity and quality, these products fail to compete with international products as these have no international standards. Bread produced by leading companies of Bharatham are of no use,nil standard, very poor quality, the price is moving fast up. Hotels, food is poor, no hygiene and sanitation. Every where we do not bother about the quality of service. The rulers never bothered about thinking improvements, in every sector. the story is very long, better try at least,-------!!!

DIVIDED POPULATION:-

The people of Bharatham are divided on the basis of religion, caste, languages,regions,and many so ons!!! The Rulers, the political parties, take advantage, for their ends and gains. There no respect for values, country's Laws are not obeyed, lack of discipline in citizens. Long term plans for the country is nowhere present, done for political mileage, Higher education is filled by not on merit, but by quota system, so the under merit candidates grab the opportunities, leaving the country's  best left behind, so the job markets, government jobs and so on. Money power is used for short-cuts in almost all fields, leaving the eligible behind. Political influence is misused, likewise there are big volume to demonstrate the wrong doings. The country men are needed Srimad Bhagavad gita lessons to make and mend themselves, if we expect to protect our Values High, is it not so,what you think?

BHARATHAM TODAY:-? The women are projected as commercial objects in media, such as in films( gents wear modest dress, where as women's wearing is shocking, almost full body is exposed, in song sequences women participants wear very less as for as possible. Gents majority run behind money and amassing wealth by any means, rush for every opportunity towards objects of pleasures. Moral side is totally weak, in any field Values disappeared. Rulers mock at Democracy,(you can watch direct telecast of our Parliament on any discussions) Countries law is not obeyed from top to bottom.[to be cont----d]

CLEANLINESS:- Unfortunately, it is accepted Truth, that Hindus are the only group who are not bothered of cleanliness, idiots,and careless, compared to people from other world religions. There are enough temple workers to maintain the temple fronts and surroundings, and they are doing their part well, but the devotees entering the sacred place, make the space dirty with equal speed. Spitting all around, urinate in any corners and open spaces are common. Hinduism is the only religion where we get enough freedom, and this is misused by many of us.

TEMPLE CULTURE:- THE OFFERINGS TO LORD.

Present days people going to temples carry coins, to offer before the deity, (few throw the coins) or drop the coins in the hundis (a box kept for it in temples), acting in a funny way of circling the coin around head, and so on. Now a days lot of counters offer tickets for special act of pujas and nivediyams on payments, considered to get benefits and blessings from the Lord. People carry such superstitions, to further fan this flame, astrologers exploit the these crowd, and recommend more and more deities cum temples to relieve them from sufferings and gain benefits, suggesting special offerings by way of cash, puja,etc. Bhagavadgita the Great Guru, shows the right direction and remove our superstitions:- CHAPTER:-9. Lord Krishna's views on Bhakta:- "Arjuna,  four types of holy people  worship me, they are 1.who suffer from diseses,  2. who wish to know the principles of life, 3. who wish to create wealth, 4. who are Jnanis [searching knowledge]. Tesham  jnani  nityayukta  ekabhaktirvisishyate Priyo  hi  jnaninotyartamaham  sa  ca  mama  priya. BHAKTI CULTURE:- People today regularly go to temples, but there is no change in their culture, character, behaviour, speech, etc; they remain as before. This type of Bhakti is of no use to the individual. This is superficial, no mind is involved, there is no involvement, submission. A total surrender is essential, it should not be machanical.

We go to temples, seen majority of devotees just bow and see the vigraha [Deity ] and pass. The second one starts requesting all sorts of his personal,family needs,and demand solutions from the Deity, also promise the Deity that he will return with some sort of compensation to the Lord if his requirements fulfilled. The theired one requests favours, And this goes on! This is totally wrong, the Vigraha do nothing, If you want to do any thing you do well the results will always positive, there is no share of the vigraha. What you need to understand is that you must visualise the chaithanya in the vigraha similar to the one within you, then close the eyes and spell [Japa] simple mantras few seconds, or sit there and meditate.

THE MODERN GENERATION:-6

The modern generation would be only too glad to accept a declaration that Hinduism is a dead religion. This is because our observation of  Hinduism is rather superficial. A modern critic compares Hinduism  to a tree. Seeing a big, giant tree standing, bereft of leaves, flowers and fruits, in the still wintry morn, one is apt to conclude that the tree is dead. But, if we were to approach the tree for a closer observation and if we discover upon the trunk of the tree at least living parasites, we need not then cut down the tree to find out if the sap is still running. Parasites can thrive only on the sap of a living tree. Similarly, when we find out that our religion is seemingly dead, yielding no foliage, smiling forth into no blossoms, giving us no fruits and yet, if our religion provides a thriving field for the weeds of superstition, mystery, magic and foul deceit to grow upon its structure, we can conclude that it is not dead yet.[END] BY SWAMI CHINMAYANANDA.

GREAT THOUGHTS- LET US PRESUME THAT RELIGION HAS A GREAT MESSAGE TO THE WORLD AND IT IS QUITE SCIENTIFIC. THIS ONLY PRESUMPTION. IN OUR RESEARCH, IF WE WERE TO  DISCOVER THAT THIS NOT TRUE, WE SHALL DECLARE TO THE WORLD OUR FINDINGS. IF WE, ON THE OTHER HAND, BY SHEER ACCIDENT, COME TO DISCOVER THAT IN RELIGION THERE IS SCIENTIFIC TREATMENT OF LIFE AND ITS VALUES, LET US THEN TRY TO LIVE THOSE NOBLER VALUES AND COME TO DECLARE TO THE WORLD THE REAL MEANING OF TRUE RELIGION. THE JNANA YAJNA  IS THUS A MOVEMENT OF RENAISSANCE RATHER THAN AN ATTEMPT AT CREATING A SECT OF COMPROMISERS TRYING TO BUILD UP A LIMITED COCOON TO BURY THEMSELVES IN! WE SHALL, GO INTO THESE GENERAL DEFINITIONS WHICH ARE ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY IN UNDERSTANDING ANY TEXT.   

4.THE SCRIPTURES:-

These are the days when many a doubtful question arises in the minds of the educated regarding religion and the scriptures. In our preoccupation with life, we have neither the time nor the patience to see if the authors or the source  of the scriptures- be they prophets or gods or god-men or mere moral philosophers--have anything to give us to help us in leading a better life. In every club-veranda, public meeting, university libraries and such places of learning and discussions, we nowadays, often discover sincere heart-searching and burning questions:- "Are the scriptures to be scrapped? Should the scriptures survive? Can the scriptures serve? We hope to try to come to a definite reply to all these questions by a  thorough research into the thoughts and their implications as suggested in one of the sacred textbooks, the "ISAVASYOPANISAD." If, by religion we mean the mad fanaticism and ignoble strife that we observe  in the day's vitiated atmosphere beneath steeples, gopurams, or domes, then, it is only too true to declare that religion can provide us only  with plenty of chances to confuse and confound our issues in life. Unintelligent and blind followers have made the best of philosophies  serve as lifeless prescriptions for ritualism! Without its true stamina and vital dynamism, religion has become today, in the hands of a few, an inhuman engine to demoralise  the generation and to feed it with false sentiments superstitious fears and strife-breeding fanaticism.[ to be cont---d] BY SWAMI CHINMAYANANDA.

WISDOM:-5. To convert this misguiding false wisdom in us and to re-educate us are the efforts of all sastras, of all scriptures, of all Prophets and Masters. Hence everyone  must strive himself to understand, reflect, digest and assimilate the right knowledge and thus bring about the necessary changes in the pattern of wisdom in him. WISDOM:-3. Today the very wisdom under the guidance of which we are thinking, feeling and working in our everyday life is the false wisdom-a wrong understanding of our personality and the very meaning and purpose of life. Naturally, we know not what would be the healthy relationship between ourselves and the world of things and beings around us. In this mistake we cling to things perishable and expect them to be permanent, run after things which are  really sheer pits of sorrow; and vaguely hope to gain all joys from them. We are disappointed, smothered, floored.

WISDOM:-2. When we try to discover the secret source of this sacred energy to live the higher life, we fail to recognize it either in the world of activities, or in our emotions, or in our thoughts. We discover that activities are a mere physical broadcast of the thoughts already in us, which again are but the expressions of our own deep desires. The source from which this mysterious consistency of endeavour [ drithi] arises, is no doubt, somewhere deeper than these. The very desires in us are ordered by and conditioned with our knowledge in us, gained from an intelligent estimation and close study of our own direct and indirect experiences in the world. And this determines the very texture of our desires and naturally therefore, of our thoughts and of our actions. Change the quality and contents of the wisdom in one, his/her way of life and attitudes to things change instantaneously, and the individual finds no difficulty in living the new life thus ordered by his/her own new

WISDOM:-1. There is a great new enthusiasm, and the Neo-Hinduism  is springing up in the  hearts of all our friends. This new found appreciation and sympathy with our National Culture should be fostered and nourished, protected and cultivated, diligently. In all other fields of progress and production we can entrust the work of governing and supervising  them into the hands of efficient  and faithful trustees. But in the field of culture each is his/her own Trustee and each has to grow for himself/herself. Cultural growth being a subjective involvement none can help another directly, effectively, actively. Each must take charge of himself/herself to regulate his/her own emotions, govern his/her own attitudes to life and maintain the noblest of values of life in all his/her contacts with the scheme of things around him/her.

SERVING BHARATHAM BETTER WAY:-6. It is not sufficient only if they strive hard and become themselves perfect. They must start sharing even their little knowledge with others. Never consider yourself as unfit for this great task. Keep yourself available for serving  the cultural cause of the nation, by constant study, daily japa and regular meditation. Tune yourself up more and more to the immortal seers. They who gave us our sacred culture are immortal. Super-human in their wisdom and power, they can miraculously help the unfoldment  in each individual--if the seeker's intentions are noble, his dedication complete, and his faith strong. Be bold, be bright. Studiously learn. Sincerely live. Lovingly interpret. Serve others selflessly and thus serve him who is the one Effulgent Truth behind all these world panorama.

THE BHARATHEEYAR [ADULTS, AND PARENTS]  ARE TO GROW THEMSELVES TO BE THE RIGHT INTERPRETERS OF OUR ANCIENT AND SACRED CULTURE TO THE CHILDREN OF THE PRESENT DAY.  NO DOUBT THERE IS NONE TO TEACH US. THOSE WHO KNOW TODAY OR AT LEAST CLAIM TO KNOW, OUR SCRIPTURES, KNOW NOT THE WORLD IN WHICH THEY ARE LIVING. THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD ARE EFFICIENT IN THEIR OWN ACTIVITIES. THEY ARE, IN THEIR OWN WAY, WISE AND LEARNED, YET, THEY TOO ARE COMPLETELY IN THE DARK REGARDING KNOWLEDGE OF THEIR OWN CULTURAL HERITAGE. THE PEOPLE OF BHARATHAM MUST BE PREPARED TO THE TREMENDOUS TASK THEY HAVE TO SHOULDER.

SERVE BHARATHAM BETTER WAY:-4. SO LONG AS THE OLD RELIGION IS THRUST UPON THE NEW GENERATION THEY SHALL REVOLT AGAINST IT AND EXPRESS THEMSELVES AS SCEPTICS OR EVEN ATHEISTS. OURS IS AN AGE OF REASON -GROSS AND POLISHED, THOUGH DARING. CHILDREN OF THIS AGE OF HIGH-TECH, SITTING AS WE ARE ON A UN THREATENING  VOLCANO OF WORLD POLITICS, WE HAVE NEITHER THE INSTRUMENT IN US TO APPRECIATE LIFE NOR THE MENTAL TEMPERATURE TO EXPRESS LOVE. ALL THAT WE CAN APPRECIATE TODAY IS A LOGICAL UNDERSTANDING OF THE HOW, WHY AND WHEREFORE, OF RELIGION. SO LONG AS THE PRIEST CLASS  ARE NOT READY TO SATISFY THESE URGENT ENQUIRIES, CHARACTERISTIC OF  THIS AGE, THEY SHALL BE CONSIDERED AS REDUNDANT AND

SERVE BHARATHAM  BETTER WAY:-3. THE UPANSHAD CULTURE IS THE CULTURE OF OUR COUNTRY. THE TRAINING GIVEN TO THE CITIZENS OF BHARAT  TO LIVE  THIS SANATANA DHARMA IS CALLED HINDUISM. METHODS OF TRAINING SHOULD ALWAYS DEPEND UPON THE TYPE OF TRAINEES ENTERTAINED, THE AVAILABLE INSTITUTION IN WHICH THEY HAVE TO BE HOUSED AND TRAINED, AND THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH THE TRAINEE WILL ULTIMATELY BE CALLED  UPON  TO ACT. THE OLD ECONOMIC STRUCTURES OF THE SOCIETY BUILT UPON THE LAND AND CATTLE WEALTH, HELD IN THE PATRIARCHAL SYSTEM, THE JOINT FAMILY HOLDINGS, THE PAROCHIAL LOYALTIES, THE QUIET LIFE CONTENTMENT AND MUTUAL LOVE, HAVE BEEN NOW REPLACED BY THE NEW ECONOMY OF MONEY AND SHARES, OF THE WELFARE STATE IDEOLOGY, OF BUSY LIFE, DISCONTENTMENT AND MUTUAL COMPETITION. THE OLD RELIGION AS A TECHNIQUE OF TRAINING THE PEOPLE TO LIVE THE RIGHT LIFE CAN NO MORE  HOLD GOOD IN OUR PRESENT TIMES.

SERVE BHARATHAM BETTER WAY:-2. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------/ A TRADITIONAL RELIGION OF THE PAST THUS BECOMES, IF NOT UNFIT TOTALLY, AT LEAST  INEFFECTUAL, IN CONTROLLING, GUIDING AND DIRECTING THE ENERGIES AND ENTHUSIASM OF A LATER GENERATION. AT ALL SUCH MOMENTS   A REINTERPRETATION OF THE TIMELESS, IMMORTAL VALUES  BECOMES ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. COINS IN CIRCULATION WILL HAVE TO BE NOW AND THEN WITHDRAWN BY THE MINT AND REPLACED BY THE FRESH ONES OF THE SAME DENOMINATION AND NATION'S STAMP. CULTURAL IDEAS IN CIRCULATION IS RELIGION, AND FROM TIME TO TIME A RELIGION NEEDS , MUST CHANGE. THEY MUST PUT ON FRESH ROBES AND REAPPEAR ON THE STAGE OF LIFE TO SERVE MANKIND. BUT THE VALUES THEY PREACH ARE ALWAYS THE SAME, BE THEY THROUGH TEXT BOOKS WRITTEN IN HEBREW, ARABIC, SANSKRIT. THESE NEW ARRIVALS WERE NOT DESTRUCTIVE REVOLUTIONS, BUT THEY WERE ONLY CONSTRUCTIVE REVIVALS.

SERVE BHARATHAM BETTER WAY:-1. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------/ WEAR AND TEAR IS NATURAL FOR EVERYTHING THAT IS CONSTANTLY IN USE. EVEN MOUNTAINS MUST ERODE AND CRUMBLE TO THE LEVEL OF EARTH AS THE FLEETING STEPS OF TIME MARCH DOWN ITS SLOPES. NOT ONLY GROSS SUBSTANCES IN THE OUTER WORLD SUFFER THUS FROM CHANGE BUT EVEN OUR INNER EMOTIONS MUST SLOWLY DECAY.  THE LAW OF DIMINISHING UTILITY IN ECONOMICS AMPLY EXPLAINS THIS PHENOMENON OF EROSION EVEN IN OUR MENTAL LIFE AND THIS IS NOT ALL. EVEN THE IDEAS AND IDEALS HAVE A KNACK OF FADING THEMSELVES  AWAY AS THEY WADE THROUGH THE DUSTY STORMS AND TUSSLES OF HISTORY. WHAT WAS CONCEIVED AS A GLORIOUS TRADITION , AN UN QUESTIONABLE  FAITH, A PERFECT  IDEAL, AN INCONTROVERTIBLE THEORY, A SCIENTIFIC CONCLUSION OR A LOGICAL FACT, IN THE PAST GETS ITSELF SLOWLY SPOILT TO BE A BUNDLE OF SUPERSTITIONS, A MEANINGLESS SHOW, A DRY EXHIBITION, A PURPOSELESS  BELIEF, AN IDEAL HOPE OR EVEN

OUR CULTURAL REVIVAL:-3. --------------------------------------------------------------/ Therefore, to invoke the virtue of our culture would be to bring the salient features of Hinduism and inexhaustible beauties of our culture to the understanding of our generation. We are not proposing to do anything new, but, we have to consider the modern problems and conditions of living, and bring about the necessary changes in our technique of spreading the knowledge of our national culture among ourselves. This is urgently needed even for our secular security and material prosperity. A shattered nation of wild groups, each trying to step over the other, is not an arrangement  from which we can hope to get any team work or cooperative endeavour  in our nation building activities. OUR CULTURAL REVIVAL:- 2. ------------------------------------------------------------/ Renaissance of a culture can be brought about only when the people get inspired by the values of life recommended by it. After a long history of cultural servitude and political slavery we have just come into a freedom wherein, in spite of ourselves and our non Aryan nature, we find ourselves merely labelled as Hindus. The intelligentsia in the country has learnt to ignore their culture and their religion as something redundant and unnecessary. The middle class people though sincere, are today living their religion by proxy, or they consider their culture as a sheer superstition. And the rest, of them, who constitute the so called faithful followers, strictly obey and live only the non essential external isms of the religion, without appreciating its deeper significances and the implications of its philosophy.

OUR CULTURAL REVIVAL:-1. --------------------------------------------------------/ Our cultural revival plan must  have necessarily a minimum three schemes; Scheme to revive :-1.The Manhood, 2.The Womanhood, 3.The Childhood. Men and women are taken up for the re-education and rehabilitation together and separately . The children are being trained all over the country, by our Education department  Children of today are to be inheritors of tomorrow and the future world is to be guided on proper lines by the growing children of today. Unless we train them up properly  to take up the great responsibility they too shall fail as our fathers and mothers had failed and many of are failing today. This sort of National rebuilding programme may sound today as a far off cry but when the world emerges out of its own day's wilderness it shall, in the saner eras that  are yet to come, learn to see the necessity of adopting these intelligent methods.

Harmony:- The Rishies of the Upanishads have been courtiers of this harmony. They investigated into it, observed its play and systematised their knowledge in it  into a subjective science, complete with its theoretical explanations  and practical methods. Nature is not to the eastern thinkers an unwilling and alien arrangement of things. On the other hand to them it is but the expression of the very same harmony that exists everywhere, which is at once the very core and the substance of the entire universe. Everything exists in it and every one must seek his/her  fulfillment in it.

WE ARE NOT SATISFIED EXCEPT BY THE SUN-LIT PEAK OF SPIRITUAL PERFECTION-THEREIN AWAITS FOR YOU THE REALIZATION OF TRUE HINDUISM.

We must rediscover our religion. Treat it with the healthy Manna of our immortal philosophy. Prune its over crowded and ugly extentions. And through an ardent re-education  we must  rediscover a cure for the alien  idealism  from which  our culture is at the moment suffering.
